Science: Bill Nye the Science Guy

1. When energy is stored it's called potential energy.

2. When energy is moving it's called kinetic energy.

3. Energy is everywhere.

4. The ways to make energy are with coal, heat (steam), wind, water, oil, and solar panels.

5. A shaft goes basically 500 meters down into the Earth's crust to pump oil.

6. We get energy from the nutricious food that we eat.

7. Energy began from the sun as light energy.

8. 40 percent of energy is used for movement, and 60 percent is used for heat.
